Tony and Robbie Tenpenny are owners and directors of Lee House-Nashville Recovery Residences. The Tenpenny's are Nashville natives and celebrate over 42 years of personal combined recovery from substance abuse. Tony served in Metro Nashville governement for many years and understands the need for safe and affordable housing for ALL people in the community. Robbie served as a Davidson County Court Services counselor for several years and has a big heart for people struggling with personal life challenges.
The Tenpenny's have devoted their time, talents, hearts, and recovery experiences to the misson they see as a critical Nashville issue; providing safe, secure and recovery-oriented residency to men and women in need of a hand-up in their journey to renewal.

We are celebrating our 6th year of helping people transition from rehab or treatment, into the wonderful world of active sobriety and fellowship with their peers.

We provide upscale transitional living residences for people in recovery from drug and alcohol-use disorders.

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently operate 2 men's residences and 1 women's residence and have a 4th house under renovation. All of our residences are in the same neighborhood providing close-up house management and group fellowship for our whole recovery family.

For safety purposes and to protect the confidentiality of our residents, we do not publish addresses or directions to the resident locations. Woodbine has over 50 years as a recovery community. Lee House is within walking distance to the bus line, restaurants, grocery stores, 12 step meetings and recovery club houses, as well as Coleman Park, which offers a community center.

We accept major credit cards, cash, money orders, and bank checks.

What are your hours of operation?
We never stop our working commitment to our residents, but our normal business hours for intake calls and interviews is 9am - 5pm Monday - Saturday.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
When a former resident or their family member sees us on the street or calls us to tell about some new accomplishment or milestone in their life because they are maintaining their sobriety, we are rewarded beyond any measure. This is the payoff for us.
