We have built The Monteagle Cabin with every comfort and need of our guests in mind. We have furnished it with luxurious appointments that are sure to please. From the superbly comfortable leather sofas, beautiful granite countertops, open accommodating gathering areas, lovely comfortable beds, and every culinary utensil necessary for your cooking pleasure... You will not be disappointed. The furnishings and appointments have a touch of rustic elegance with an element of natural style. We have even provided some of those most "forgotten items" like salt/pepper, coffee filters, dish soap, laundry soap, and paper products for your stay.
You see, we try to make your journey to your vacation every bit as enjoyable as your vacation. It is our desire to have you anticipating your vacation at The Monteagle Cabin, to savor your moments together while enjoying our cabin and to long your return to our cabin in the future.
Set on a bluff on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau and overlooks the majestic Dripping Springs Cove. The highest point between Miami and Chicago on Interstate 24. This cozy log home is located only minutes from University of the South in Sewanee, St. Andrew's - Sewanee School (SAS) and Monteagle Sunday School Assembly. The Monteagle Cabin is just a short 90 minute drive from Nashville, Franklin, and Murfreesboro areas and a 45 minute from Chattanooga.

This three bedroom (3 Queen beds), two full bath log home has plenty of room for everyone. There is also an additional full size sofa bed pullout in the upstairs loft. This is the room with the best view of the house! It is especially amazing to curl up on the sofa to enjoy a great book...with a few momentary distractions to look out at the amazing bluff view. You will find the kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs and the open floorplan provide a wonderful gathering place to share stories with family and friends. There is so much to see and do while vacationing/visiting the area. You can either have your schedule full or just simply do nothing but "re-charge" while enjoying the bluff view. It is simply beautiful all year round! Whether you enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, golf, or simply a quiet weekend in a breath-taking secluded area, you will have plenty of choices during your stay with us at Lil'Bear Cabin.
