How long have you been in business?
I went in to business for myself in 2011 and then relocated to the Nashville area for my wife's job in 2013. At that time I went through the Tennessee state licensing process in 2013 and have been inspecting in the state ever since. I have been around the home inspection business since 2004/2005.
What is your primary product or service?
Daley Home Inspections main product is home inspections. I inspect homes as old as 100 years old up to new construction. I also perform builders warranty inspection, pre-drywall inspections and radon testing.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have a residential construction background and an insurance background which are related fields and have provided a great background for entering the home inspection business. Also I have a family member who was a home inspector for almost 20 years who recommended that I look in to this business given my background. During my construction days we built additions, remodeled homes and built decks as well as custom cedar and aluminum sunrooms. We kept most of our work in house so I have experience with carpentry work from framing to trim carpentry, drywall work, insulation, siding, roofing and more. I also have almost 12 years working in the Insurance industry in a corporate regional office conducting underwriting inspections. While in the insurance industry I was tasked with calculating replacement values of homes and commercial property as well as documenting and reporting any existing or potential claim hazards.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I focus on the quality of the work rather than the volume of work. My goal is to turn out a detailed product. I don't count how many inspections I do in a day and focus on the inspection and the report.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one home office and service the greater Nashville area from southern Williamson county to Robertson county and eastern Wilson county to Dickson County on the west side. I sometimes work outside of this area but this is my typical service area.

My services come to your home, I don't have a store front or office.
What type of payments do you accept?
Payments accepted are cash, checks, and credit cards although it is strongly encourage to pay with a check.
Which areas do you service?
I service the greater Nashville area from southern Williamson county to Robertson county and eastern Wilson county to Dickson County on the west side. I sometimes work outside of this area but this is my typical service area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The company is operated by the owner.
What are your hours of operation?
Our normal hours are Monday - Friday 8 am 6 pm. I due respond to email outside of those times and may returns calls also.
