How long have you been in business?
McGrath Brothers have been in the trade since 1982. McGrath Brothers Discount Flooring Brokers was established in 2003.
What is your primary product or service?
McGrath Brothers specialize in supplying Discount Hardwood Flooring, both Unfinished and Prefinshed, Solid and Engineered, Domestic and Exotic. We have a Direct Drop Ship Curbside Program which allows us to deliver anywhere in the Continental US. We Broker over 50 different domestic products as well as offering imported products from many countries from around the world.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our inital experience in the trade was representing the Bruce Hardwood Product as employees of a small branch of a larger distributor operating out of Memphis, TN. Eventually, we saw a wave of change coming in the industry to which our employer was not responsive. We had the opportunity to enter the market at the wholesale distribution level, and we accepted that opportunity.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer far more than just low prices. Low prices without expertise and experience, often ends badly for the consumer. You have to know what product to put in which application, if the consumer is ultimately going to be happy with their floor.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We service the Nashville and Huntsville, AL markets. Our main office is in Nashville and we are opening a new location in Huntsville, AL in 2012.

We are off Thompson Lane behind the Sears Outlet Store. Turn onto Eugina (Between Sears Outlet and the Wells Fargo Bank) Go to Cruzen, which is your first street, and turn right. Then take the first left which is Winford. We are immediately on the left.

Cash, Telecheck approved check, Visa and Mastercard

The greater Middle Tennessee Market Area, roughly a 75 mile radius of Nashville
