What is your primary product or service?
Information Technology support and consulting, integration of business requirements for the Military and government. Broadband Technology Corp is starting a Broadband Medical Services Division that will assist VA and Military Installatons-
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Retired Brigadier General and various Army Headquarters would call me and ask if I know anyone who could help them with the distant learning centers that were constructed in the late 1990's and I checked around Nashville and all that I interviewed didn't know what MOSQ and all of the Army terms were so out of frustration I started the company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My 42 years of service in the Army gives me a unique perspective on the needs of the military that competitors did not seem to have. Often, I will have a call from an Army or Military Headquarters and ask if we can provide a service and also other companies call to see if we will partner with them on work for the military. we have over 40 Teaming Partners in various areas of business that can provide services to BTC. I theory is that if a company is outstanding in their area of work why would I want to duplicate that capability but work with them that helps their company as well as ours.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Nashville, Knoxville in Tennessee and Lubbock, Texas. We may look at other locations as the business expands.
What type of payments do you accept?
GSA Schedule Contract through the WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow), Government Credit Card and other payments as per the contract.
Which areas do you service?
Generally the United States CONUS as well as O'Conus.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
BG (Ret) Gary G. Harber owns the company.
What are your hours of operation?
0800 hrs to 1700 hrs generally but that is variable according to the mission.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
